Charity

I’ve always believed that even a small act of kindness can change someone’s life. In May 2021,
I was fortunate enough to carry out one of the initiatives closest to my heart: in one of
the poorest regions of the Central African Republic (CAR), a well providing clean drinking
water was constructed. This was done in memory of my father.
On the plaque beside the well, it reads: “Дар ёди падар” — “In memory of my father.”
I’ll never forget the emotions of the people who, for the very first time, saw a
source of clean water right next to their homes. On that day, we were simply human beings, united by
one important moment: joy, gratitude, and hope.
In a world where there is so much injustice and need, I believe each of us has the power to do
something meaningful. It’s not always about large-scale projects — sometimes kindness is found in
simple things: in involvement, support, and the willingness to listen and help.
I’m
grateful that I was able to be part of this story. And if it inspires someone to reach out to
another person, then this journey was not in vain.
